Study Abroad

All global studies majors complete a study abroad experience at least one semester in length. With the approval of the program coordinator, an global studies major may choose a less traditional program of work or community involvement abroad.

The University of Richmond sponsors more than 60 study abroad and exchange programs, including semester programs in 25 countries and summer study in Argentina, China, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Japan, Jordan, Peru, Russia, Spain, and Sweden. Internships and service opportunities are also possible in Australia, Berlin, London, Dublin, Mexico and South Africa.
